Melanie and Dan were a super fun couple to work with for their engagement session! When we scheduled their session Glensfoot Farm, we were excited to see the possibilities for portraits, but when we arrived, we got so much more than we had bargained for! It felt like we had stepped into another time, and a place far, far away!
And for two people who feared being in front of the camera, they sure didn’t seem that way once their session was underway. Nestled in the quaint and historic Cherry Valley, the beautiful farm was a perfect place to get some unique photos, while keeping things laid back and romantic. Incorporating many of the properties outbuildings, barns (which included some sneaky shots through the barn wood), and even Dan’s motorcycle added some spice to an already awesome session. Nothing was more awesome, though, than sneaking down into the bourbon cellar and getting a few shots there! Can’t say we’ve ever had such an opportunity before, but it definitely made for some unique images!
The forecast called from some rain, but the skies cleared up just long enough for our time together, and made for some beautiful skies in the background. We really had a killer time with these two, and we are stoked to see how everything looks on their wedding day! Can’t wait guys! Thanks for such a fantastic session!
