We are passionate portrait photographers in Syracuse NY, specializing in engagement photography, family portraits, and senior portrait photography.
We travel to all of Upstate NY including the Finger Lakes, Adirondacks, Thousand Islands to capture your family's special moments in life.

Greg got his start in photography at age 14 with an interest in landscape photography, while Colleen developed an interest in photography by taking children's portraits.
After graduating with degrees in photography, they opened Solas Studios in 2010. Inspired by their shared Irish heritage, "Solas" is the Irish-Gaelic word which means "light" - and photography is all about light! Their favorite colors are coincidentally orange and green, so it's a perfect fit!
We had a fruitful wedding photography career together for 14 years, photographing all over Upstate NY at some of the state's most beautiful wedding venues, and working with some pretty amazing couples.
Our director is our beloved feline friend, Smeagól. While he does not accompany us on the job, he does play an active role in the business, supervising and making sure that we are working up to his standards!
