Hi! We are Colleen & Greg. We are primarily wedding photographers in Syracuse NY, but we specialize in all forms of portraiture including (but of course not limited to) family portraits, newborn photography, and senior portrait photography. We would love to work with you and have fun! We travel to all of Upstate New York including the Finger Lakes, Adirondacks, and Thousand Islands, but we also love to travel and would be happy to be your destination wedding photographer!

Colleen & Greg are not your typical husband and wife photography
team. Greg got his start in photography at age 14 with an interest in
landscape photography. Colleen developed an interest in photography by
taking children's portraits.

They met each other while getting their photography degrees in
college. After graduating, they opened Solas Studios in 2010. Inspired
by their Irish heritage, "Solas" is the Irish-Gaelic word which means
"light" - and photography is all about light! Their favorite colors are
coincidentally orange and green, so it's a perfect fit!

For your wedding they are the perfect team - Greg, with his
experience as a talented landscape photographer brings his vision to
your wedding to capture scenic and breathtaking photos showing the
beauty of your surroundings. With that experience, he also uses his
skills with a wide-angle lens to capture all of the excitement on the
dance floor. Colleen has a knack for capturing the beauty and elegance
of the bride on her wedding day, capturing all the important details,
and with her background in children's portraiture she is adept at
capturing all of the precious moments that will make your heart melt.

Our director is our beloved feline friend, Smeagól. While he does not
accompany us on the job, he does play an active roll in the business,
supervising and making sure that we are working up to his standards!
