We are wedding photographers that have worked in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York since 2010, and the below list is a compilation of Finger Lakes wedding venues that we enjoy working at. The order that they are displayed on this page is by no means a ranking of quality. All of the photos on this page are our own.
LakeWatch Inn, Ithaca NY
Where to begin with this awesome venue? The staff is extremely friendly and very efficient. The food is spectacular and the waitstaff is always sure to make sure you are taken care of. The two-level open nature of the venue provides for great photos of the reception, and the venue is situated near beautiful Cayuga Lake which provides great views of beautiful sunsets. We were overly impressed with how quickly the staff completely re-arranged the wedding venue so that the ceremony could take place inside when a sudden downpour of of rain began; we’ve never seen staff move so quickly before to ensure that the bride and groom’s wedding went off without a hitch. Only a short drive down the road you can find the beautiful Lansing-Meyers park which is a great place to have your photos taken at as well! We highly recommend this venue and enjoy working there very much.
Bristol Harbour, Canandaigua NY
Situated on a hill overlooking Canandaigua Lake, this wedding venue probably has the best view of the entire lake that you will find. During the day you will see a breathtaking view of Canandaigua Lake which will look stunning in your wedding photos, but sunset is even more spectacular. This venue has 2 ballrooms to choose from, a smaller one with a “cabin on the lake” feel, and a larger one with a more traditional and classic ballroom feel.
The Lodge at Welch Allyn, Skaneateles NY
In the finger lakes but not situated on one of the lakes, The Lodge at Welch Allyn has it’s own lake! Ok, well it’s probably technically a pond, but it’s a big one! This wedding venue provides a cabin-like feel while at the same time being incredibly spacious – it’s probably one of the largest wedding venues you will find in the Finger Lakes. The balcony the overlooks the main reception area provides for great wedding photos of the reception, the food here is top-notch, and they also can do fireworks for the end of your reception as a send-off.
Knapp Winery, Romulus NY
Knapp Winery in Romulus is a quaint wedding venue for smaller weddings situated in the wine country of the finger lakes. This venue provides spectacular artisan food options with gorgeous views of the surrounding vineyards. On the front side, they have a small pond which makes for a relaxing seating area or great wedding photos with a nice reflection on the mirror-like surface of the water.
