Wedding at Hayloft on the Arch, Vernon Center, NY ♥ Lauren + Jeff

It’s so hard to believe that it was just eight months ago that we joined Lauren and Jeff at Hayloft on the Arch for their winter engagement session! And today, we are looking back on their beautiful autumn wedding. They could not have chosen a more perfect day, or a more perfect place to celebrate their nuptials. And if you were to ask any of their friends and family, the two could not be more perfect for each other. We joined Lauren at Hayloft, where she and her lovely ladies offered lots of love and laughs as she transformed from a beautiful young lady into a stunning bride. After a winning trip to the Turning Stone Casino, Jeff and his best man returned to the Tower to don their tuxes, and share a few happy moments before they departed for the long-awaited celebration. Before they exchanged their vows, Lauren and Jeff had a tearful first look session, where we were able to capture some of the most beautiful moments of their day. It was a cool autumn afternoon, with the clouds and foliage as the perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony, performed by Pastor Wheatley. Following family portraits, and a spirited cocktail hour, their guests joined them in the barn for what may have been one of the sweetest first dances we have ever been fortunate enough to see. Family and friends were treated to a delicious dinner prepared and served by A Moveable Feast. After bellies were full, the party was started with plenty of energy, while the guests…

Wedding at The LakeWatch Inn, Ithaca ♥ Sarah + Mike – Part One

Let’s start off this blog post with a bit of honesty. This has been one of the most agonizing blog posts that we have had to compile, ever. This couple had a wedding day for the books, in being so awesome, with so many memorable and touching moments from beginning to end. Which inevitably made it very difficult to narrow down our favorite images that highlighted the day. So for the first time, we are going to do something different, by blogging not one, but TWO parts to represent everything awesome that was Sarah and Mike’s wedding! It was never a doubt for us that Sarah and Mike would have an absolutely awesome wedding day. When we met them for the first time almost exactly a year ago, we traveled to Jersey City for their engagement session. There we also had the pleasure of meeting their four-legged roommate; the lovable Skippy! We really enjoyed getting to bond with them, and see just how perfect they are for each other. If you missed the blog post on their E-Session, you can enjoy it here. Every couple, and every wedding is unique and special in its own way, but we were particularly impressed by Mike’s involvement in the planning, and how dedicated they both were to making their day tailored especially to them! Their day started at the historic Benn Conger Inn, in Groton, where Mike and his groomsmen readied inside the main house. Sarah, Skippy, and her bridesmaids prepared for the day in the beautiful, Victorian cottage right next door. It…

Wedding at Pratt’s Falls and Craftsman Inn ♥ Michele + Brad

A beautiful day was carefully planned for the wedding of Michele and Brad, and it turned out just perfect! Our first adventure with this fun couple happened back in January, when we met for their E-Session in Franklin Park. Such a fun session, that ended with us at a coffee shop! Colleen will never be heard complaining about that! Revisit their session by clicking here. With a shortage of snow, and mild temperatures for their engagement portraits, we knew we would be lucky on their wedding day as well! It was a warm summer day, and while there was some threat of rain, it stayed away for these two love birds. We started out with Michele at the Craftsman Inn, where she was accompanied by her Mom and Maid of Honor, Jessica. They helped her slip into the most perfect of wedding gowns, which was no doubt made especially for Michele! She looked absolutely stunning! Meanwhile, Greg met up with the Groom and his guys for a few candid photos at the Gorham Brothers Music, owned and operated by the Groom along with his two brothers. They enjoyed a few laughs and some goofy moments before heading to Pratt’s Falls for the ceremony. Michele and Jessica arrived to Pratt’s Falls first, and patiently awaited the arrival of Brad and Best Man, Keith. Before long, her husband-to-be approached the big tree she waited behind, shielded by her yellow paper umbrella. The couple shared their first glimpse of each other dressed to become husband and wife. After a few happy tears, and…
